Jessica Chastain-
She may not have won the Oscar for best supporting actress last night but, she definitely won my vote for best dressed. Dolled up in Alexander McQueen, she was quite the vision. For me, McQueen on the carpet is always a hit or miss, due to the less than subtle designs. Sarah Burton has a wonderful eye for details and the gold bead-work just proves that. Gold hues mesh very well with Chastain’s red locks. She is no doubt my favorite of the night!

Emma Stone-
Another favorite was Emma Stone. I don’t know if I am bias to her because I adore her but I loved her in this Giambattista Valli gown. I am a huge fan of bows at the neck and her silhouette is flawless. My only critique is that it was quite the copy-cat of Nicole Kidman’s Balenciaga gown back in 2007, at the Oscars. Right? Pretty similar. Anyways, she looks flawless. I love red gowns on a red-head!

Michelle Williams-
As much as I love this girl, she doesn’t always do it for me on the red carpet. The Oscars was definitely her moment to shine! This Louis Vuitton gown was a surprising pick for her and I think it was just great. I loveeee the coral on her and her pixie cut is perfect with a strapless dress, not to mention how big of a fan I am of peplum dresses.

Angelina Jolie-
I really liked Angelina Jolie’s dress. The black velvet Versace piece is simply gorgeous, especially with the extra long slit on the right leg. I do have to criticize some things though. Their were a couple of flaws that stood out to me that I must mention.
Number 1- Gain some weight girl! Angelina is so beautiful but she was definitely looking way too frail&pale on the carpet. If only she gained a little weight it would have been much better.
Number 2- Slit= major amazingness BUT!!! Easy with that leg Angelina! I understand velvet can be heavy and you want that leg shown but the slit is supposed to be sultry not slutty. In some of the pictures it looked like she was about to do a lunge. We get it Angie, your sexy, don’t push it though.
Brad.. you’re perfect as always.

Mila Jovinich-
For Mila’s first Oscar’s she really did it right! Her Elie Saab gown is perfection and she definitely pulled off the old-time glam look very well.
Fun fact- this gown is from Saab’s 2009 collection.

Miley Cyrus-
Although she wasn’t on the red carpet for the Oscars, she was spotted at Sir Elton John’s AIDS Foundation viewing party looking ahhhmazing. She really stays under the radar for me when it comes to fashion but, this Roberto Cavalli dress is breathtaking! Lucky girl.
