There’s Nothing Like Old Hollywood Glamour!

I have been watching a lot of old hollywood movies lately and I realize that, this era is where fashion really began.  From “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” to “An Affair to Remember” to “White Christmas”, this is where it all started and where the real beauty lies.  I was in awe watching a few of these movies for the first time.  The silhouettes of these dresses are simply perfection.  Although all of these dresses are not as renowned as the vintage Givenchy on Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, they are all just as gorgeous.  I picked a few favorites from the 40′s and 50′s below.  They are really to die for.

If you haven’t heard it, you must!  Check it out here. Below are Billboard’s top ten.  Wonder if Fun. will be staying at the top next week. Seems like Billboard thinks so.

Happy Birthday Lady GaGa!

In tribute to Lady GaGa’s 26th Birthday I posted my top 5 favorite performances! One including the legendary Elton Johnwhose birthday was just the other day.

These performances are not only my favorite because of the amazing show she puts on and because of how entertaining they are but because of the talent she portrays while she’s performing.  She really knows how to entertain and show us what a real voice sounds like. Love her!

Lily Collins remake of “I Believe (In Love)”

Who knew Lily Collins was a singer?  The daughter of singer Phil Collins, can act but I had no clue her father passed down the vocal torch.  Lily has her own track on her new movie, “Mirror, Mirror.”  The song is called, “I Believe (In Love).” Honestly, when I first heard it I thought of  a Bollywood film more than a movie about Snow White, but than I figured out(courtesy of YouTube) that this was not the original.  “I Believe (In Love)” is a remake of Iranian singer’s Googoosh.  Hmm. Interesting.
