Crazy Fashion.

We’ve seen some pretty crazy looks from Lady Gaga over the years and this look is definitely at the top of the list.  Lady Gaga is one for pushing limits (meat dress, netted face, arriving in an egg.. the list goes on and on) but wearing a costume made out of her own hair weaved into a purple hair is outrageous. The bottom half of her can pass as a dip-dyed Cousin Itt.  Ha! I do love her white vest with purple embroidery.  Good thing this gal is one of a kind.. can’t see too many people following this trend, that’s for sure!

So I am in the process of making some fun cutoff shorts for this summer which I will obviously show you guys when I am all finished but I have a question for you all.  What do you think will be the best fashion trend for this summer?  In my opinion I think the dip-dyed, printed, and studded shorts are a great new trend but I want you guys to pick your favorite.  Here are a few trends that I think will be seeing a lot this summer.  Vote for your favorite so I can get your opinion.

Buns You Must Try For This Summer.

Sock Bun- This look is literally made by putting a rolled up sock in you hair.  It is so simple but can take a few tries to get it perfect. Check out this DIY video that I love which actually taught me how to get this perfect look.

Ballerina Bun- This look is classic and very chic.  For going on an interview or meeting the boyfriends parents, this is the best bun to look clean and sharp.  Take some gel for those fly-a-ways to keep the look as polished as can be.  

Messy Bun – This is perfect from going from day to nighttime.   You can dress it up with a headband like in this picture.  Tease the top to make the messy look even better.  

Braided Bun- My favorite way to get this look is to have a side part.  Do two french braids and literally just knot the two pony tails into a bun when your done.  Stick some bobby pins in for a great hold.  This picture shows my favorite boho queen, Nicole Richie, doing it perfectly with this casual look.

Smashing Pumpkins New Album.

The Smashing pumpkin seventh album will be released June 19th.  The Album is called Oceania.  Billy Corgan said last year that this album is more like “an album within an album” in regards to the Teargarden by Kaleidyscope project. Rolling Stone reports that it is their first new work with new drummer Mike Byrne, new guitarist Jeff Schroeder, and new bassist Nicole Fiorentino.  Wonder how the new tunes will all sound.  A bunch of the songs have been performed before on their last tour but a few I still haven’t heard.  The entire album catalog is said to be remastered and reissued with bonus tracks, starting with Gish and Siamese Dream in November 2011.  The Pre-Gish Demos, Pisces Iscariot, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, The Aeroplane Flies High, and Adore will be released in 2012, and finally, Machina/The Machines of God and the yet commercially unreleased Machina II/Friends and Enemies of Modern Music are expected to be combined, remixed and released in 2013. Can’t wait to pick this one up.

Adriana Lima Shows Off Her Baby Bump In NYC!

Adriana Lima has definitely joined the pack of Victoria Secret models that are mothers to be! The gorgeous 30-year old model (who would know.. right?!) was spotted with a growing belly in NYC at IWC’s opening of their flagship boutique. Even with the bump she looks perfect, just like her fellow VS model, Alessandra Ambrosio.  This is Adriana’s second baby with hubby Marko Jaric.  Congratulations to the beautiful couple!

New Tunes For Vampire Weekend.

The awesome band known as Vampire Weekend has laid pretty low for the last year but that doesn’t mean we won’t be blessed with hearing any new tunes this year. (I hope) Frontman, Ezra Koenig told Rolling Stone Magazine, “We do have a ton of stuff,” said Koenig. “It would be cool if it was released this year. I always want to release music as soon as possible, but more and more I’m realizing it’s something you almost have no control over. We just never want to be in a position where when we put out something, we feel could have benefited from more time.” He has a point.  Although I am dying to hear new tunes, it is better not to rush it so they can create masterpieces like they did with 2010′s Contra. Bassist Chris Baio also told the magazine that they’ve started many songs and that they can’t wait to get them out to the public.   I am so stoked to hear their new stuff.  I am sure the LP is going to be sick.

Beyonce, The Most Beautiful Woman In The World.

Well, according to People magazine she is!  Beyonce tops the list of People’s “Most Beautiful” list for their yearly issue.  This is the singers 9th time making the issue.

I do believe she is absolutely gorgeous inside and out.  She seems like such a great human being, and now adding mommy to her resume, I am sure she is even more down to earth than she already seems.

You can get your hand on a copy this friday when it hits newsstands. Although I haven’t seen the full list yet, the top ten has been posted and all I can say is.. where are the men at? haha Men seem to never make the top ten, but these ladies below did.  What do you guys think?  Do these chicks deserve the titles of the world’s most beautiful women?
