Kate Moss For Vanity Fair.

The always beautiful, Kate Moss, is on the cover of Vanity Fair this month.  The supermodel shares intimate details about her life including her hard times in the fashion world.  Moss told the magazine, “I see a 16-year-old now, and to ask her to take her clothes off would feel really weird. But they were like, If you don’t do it, then we’re not going to book you again. So I’d lock myself in the toilet and cry and then come out and do it. I never felt very comfortable about it. There’s a lot of boobs. I hated my boobs! Because I was flat-chested. And I had a big mole on one. That picture of me running down the beach—I’ll never forget doing that, because I made the hairdresser, who was the only man on the shoot, turn his back.  At such a young age it must have been very hard making decisions that would potentially shape her future career.  Luckily, she persevered and is now one of the most notable models in the game.

Once Upon A Time.. Designer’s Disney Creations For Harrods.

Being the Disney freak that I am, Harrods’ Disney princess theme is my dream come true.   For the upcoming holiday season, the department store has gotten together 10 of the ultimate designers in the industry to create gowns inspired by their favorite Disney princess. On November 1st, Harrods’ Knightsbridge store will feature the gowns in their holiday display.  Amazing! If only it was in NYC.  Can’t wait to see pictures of the real thing but these sketches most definitely satisfy for now.

Target’s Zillionth Collaboration Is With… Prabal Gurung.

We are soon going to be lucky shoppers yet again!  Target has added ANOTHER top brand to collaborate with and the awesome brand is Prabal Gurung! The collection is limited-edition and will include 80 pieces. The collection will feature clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry, everything a girl could need!  What is even better is that they will feature pieces ranging from $199.99 to as low as $12.99! Lucky us!  Get your shopping on come February, when the collection hits Target stores.

Brad Pitt’s Less Than Mediocre Chanel Campaign.

I am 1 of millions, who were super excited when hearing that Brad Pitt would be the face of Chanel No. 5.  As the first male face of Chanel N0.5, one would think that they would “Wow” us with his glorious face or let us indulge with that sexy body of his but nope, the ads and especially the commercial are pretty much awful.  Womp, womp. I usually would excuse poor Brad, considering he didn’t get a say in directing this but I am sure he could have cleaned himself up a bit before being in a CHANEL!!!! campaign. Right? 

To add insult to injury, the “poem” writer is Joe Wright, who has written films as big as ‘Atonement’. The words are just so awkward and definitely could have been better if this was an ad for a cheesy romance novel.  Chanel is so much better than this.

Is This Not Weird Or What?

So, Rodarte thought it would be a good an idea to do a collab with Starbucks.  Yes, our favorite coffee go-to.  Designers, Laura and Kate Mulleavy, have paired up with the coffee giant to release limited-edition holiday merchandise including mugs, gift cards, drink sleeves and tote bags.  Hm, although I might not pass up a Rodarte coffee cozy, I do find it a bit of an odd pair up. What do you guys think?  Desperate or do we all need our Rodarte-designed coffee necessities? Get your hands on these pixel designs November 13th. 

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M Ad Campaign

Finally, what we’ve all be waiting for.  The Maison Martin Margiela and H&M collaboration is finally in route and we have the Ad Campaign as proof.  British artist Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the photo shoot and a series of short films. Although, we don’t have our hands on the films just yet, we’ll just have to wait till they arrive, November 8th. 

Coldplay’s Comic Music Video.

Seems like comic book themes are showing up in both the fashion industry and the music industry.  Coldplay has just released their new music video for ‘Hurts Like Heaven’ and it is awesome. The video was directed by Mark Osborne with illustrations by Alejandro Fuentes and goes inside the comic book of Mylo Xyloto.  I am pretty much a total geek so I am definitely in love!  The comic book will debut this weekend at NYC’s comic-con. Pretty cool.
