Model, Kate Moss, is the new face for one of my favorite shoe designers, Stuart Weitzman. The black and white campaign was shot by Mario Testino and features some amazing shoes like these gladiator sandals. Love it!
The always beautiful, Kate Moss, is on the cover of Vanity Fair this month. The supermodel shares intimate details about her life including her hard times in the fashion world. Moss told the magazine, “I see a 16-year-old now, and to ask her to take her clothes off would feel really weird. But they were like, If you don’t do it, then we’re not going to book you again. So I’d lock myself in the toilet and cry and then come out and do it. I never felt very comfortable about it. There’s a lot of boobs. I hated my boobs! Because I was flat-chested. And I had a big mole on one. That picture of me running down the beach—I’ll never forget doing that, because I made the hairdresser, who was the only man on the shoot, turn his back. At such a young age it must have been very hard making decisions that would potentially shape her future career. Luckily, she persevered and is now one of the most notable models in the game.
I am a huge fan of Rag & Bone and I am loving the fact that Kate Moss has been chosen as the face of their first official ad campaign. Along with the ad campaign, Rag & Bone will be launching their first international store in Chelsea, London. (13-14 Sloane Square) Both Kate Moss and the brand’s designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville are from London and the shots taken by Craig McDean were actually shot their as well. David Neville tells WWD, “Although we are essentially a New York brand, our English roots have always influenced our aesthetic, and casting Kate was another nod to our heritage.” The full campaign will be in all your September issues to check out. Such an awesome step for the brand and they deserve it. Have you checked out their stuff? Simply amazing!
Kate Moss will be on the cover of British Vogue’s June issue this year. This is her 32nd cover of British Vogue. Insane right? She is looking as stunning as ever in a 1920′s meets a futuristic themed spread with a killer side part and bouncing waves of blonde locks. Along with that red lip and awesome clothes, I think this was produced perfectly. They seem to love her over at British Vogue and why shouldn’t they? She is flawless. Check out what they had to say for their cover girl.
“Kate Moss is our icon; a beautiful, untouchable, thoroughly twenty-first-century woman who remains as inscrutable as an early Renaissance heroine. While those around the 38-year-old have long testified to her earthy personality, tremendous sense of fun and filthy line in humour, she rarely speaks in public, giving her a remove from whichwe watch in awe, and allowing us to project upon her a thousand incarnations, from Grecian goddess to Little Briton to eternally dazzling cover star.”
